"Worth it if you’re booking regularly"
I’ve used Hertz 24/7 a handful of times now, if you’re using it fairly often, it does start to make sense. The repeat booking perks help take the edge off the cost a bit, which is always nice because, let’s be real, every little saving counts. The cars have usually been exactly where they’re supposed to be, so I’m not standing there thinking, “Great, now where has it gone?” The app can be a bit slow here and there, and I do catch myself getting mildly impatient with it, but overall it’s still been convenient enough that I keep coming back.

"I didn’t think the mileage allowance would be..."
I didn’t think the mileage allowance would be a big deal at first, but in actual use I hit it way quicker than expected. Once the extra usage charges started adding up, it felt frustrating. If you drive more than just the bare minimum, the limit really doesn’t feel practical

"Cancellation policy felt unfair to me"
I canceled early because my plans changed, and I thought that would be the end of it. Then I still got charged, which just didn’t sit right with me. Maybe I missed some fine print somewhere, I don’t know, but from a customer point of view it feels unfair. Like, if I’m canceling ahead of time, why am I still paying? The whole thing left me frustrated.
"Claim took much longer than expected"
I had an accident in one of their vans and expected the claims process to move a lot faster. It took ages to get any clear updates, and I felt like I had to keep chasing just to find out what was happening. The staff weren’t rude or anything, but they didn’t seem to have much info to give me. Overall, it felt disorganised and wasn’t a great experience.

"Late return fees were frustrating"
I returned the item late, so I understand there could be a fee, but the whole process felt poorly handled. Support was confusing to deal with, and the charges did not feel very fair or clearly explained.

We had a few little things to sort out on our business account, and from my point of view the Hertz 24/7 team handled it really well. They replied quickly, didn’t make it complicated, and everything was sorted the same day. It’s made booking vans for work feel a lot smoother and less of a hassle now.

"Roadside help came through, but it took a while"
My car ended up breaking down during the booking, so I had to get in touch with roadside assistance, which was obviously not how I expected the trip to go. To be fair, they did answer the phone and they did get things sorted in the end, so I can’t say it was a total disaster or anything like that. The main issue was just the waiting around. It took longer than I thought it would, and while I was sitting there trying to figure out what was happening, the updates weren’t really that clear or regular. Eventually everything was handled, but at the time it was stressful and frustrating. Overall, the help was okay, just slower and less communicative than I would have liked.

"Extending my booking was way harder than it should’ve been"
I tried to extend my booking and was surprised by how difficult the process was. The options felt really limited, and what should’ve been a simple change turned into a bunch of extra hassle. I get that policies exist, but the company needs to take some accountability for making basic reservation changes so frustrating. A clearer, easier system would make a big difference.

"Not a great van hire experience"
Booked a van for what was meant to be a quick move. it was grim. Got in and there were old crumbs on the seats, stains too, and the dashboard felt sticky. Then the back of the van had this wet dog smell that just wouldn’t go away. One of the tyres looked a bit low as well, which didn’t exactly make me feel confident. The side door was another hassle, really hard to shut properly. I reported it, but didn’t get much help back. Yeah… wouldn’t use them again.

At first, the booking looked like a good price, so I went ahead with it. But later on, I noticed extra charges that I hadn’t really seen upfront, and it made the whole thing feel confusing. I don’t like feeling like I’m losing money on unexpected costs, even if the base price seems cheap. I just wish the total pricing had been clearer from the start so I knew exactly what I was paying.

"Frustrating and honestly unfair"
The app kept freezing on me, and my booking wouldn’t show up no matter what I tried. I gave it two chances, but at that point it just felt careless to leave customers stuck like that. I ended up giving up and booking with someone else

"Really Convenient Pickup and Drop-Off"
I used Hertz 24/7 last weekend and, to be fair, it made the whole process really easy. The car was simple to find, and once I got there, picking it up only took a few minutes. Dropping it back was just as straightforward too, with no waiting around or needing to speak to anyone. I’m taking off one star because the app was a little slow when I first opened it, but other than that, it was a really handy and convenient service

"Wanted to like the fuel card, but it let me down"
I’ve been loyal to this brand for a while, so I really wanted the fuel card to be a convenient perk. Unfortunately, it failed on me twice when I tried to refill, and I ended up having to pay out of pocket both times. Not the biggest disaster, but definitely frustrating when you’re expecting things to just work

"Verification Never Worked"
I tried getting verified multiple times and it just never worked. No clear explanation, no real help, just a frustrating loop that went nowhere. It gave me the impression they care more about getting people signed up and paid than actually making sure the service works properly.
